Thank you all for the kind messages, from the day we we went to Karmas Cave Roxy was our dog,she had such a character! If Tara or Harry were saying Hello to you went coming in she just had to push them out the way-she was like that with everything lol,not in an aggressive way at all! The Kids(i say kids)they are 19 and 20 still miss her loads-Dean had taught her some tricks-anything Dean did she copied lol and if I told her off for anything she would always answer back by barking then wagging her tail-there's no way you could be cross with her for more than 2 mins! lol We also miss her barking when we arrived home(Tara and Harry just stand there looking round the kitchen door)as if to say'oh your home then'.I was sitting in the garden the other day and that's when i miss her as I know for a fact that she would be right there with me.Tara and Harry both have their ways and we love them dearly,Harry is such a gentleman and Tara actually gives me kisses which is a massive thing as when we first got her she didnt even acknowledge you! But we left her be and she has become such a sweet loving little girl.Anyway thanks all again for the messages and listening to me going on! R.I.P My sweet Little Roxy,Miss you loads...the house is just too quiet without you!! xxxx

Oh Karen, just logged on to see this terrible news. I'm so upset for you and I know how hard it hits when they go in an instance like that....my Sheppy went in a morning just 4 years ago this month, she tripped and fell and her back legs went useless - the vet said, after an extensive examination, that the kindest thing was to let her go as she had no chance of walking again. Sheer disbelief and shock when she had been fine just before this happened. My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. Be strong and you will get through but not without many tears of sadness as our loving dogs do become a part of our family. Rest peacefully sweet Roxy

Thankyou Kaz ... it sounds like ur Roxy has a personality like most of the other greyhounds I've so far met! None of them are the same but they each seem to have oodles of ooomphyness about them and are somehow different. i hope to have long years with fudge and to have him by my side wherever i am and in whatever i'm getting up to. didn't think he'd have quite that effect on me but somehow life is much richer now that he's a part of it. sending kisses up to the stars for roxy .... x
