Today Lin and Dave went out to Belgium with all the things that we have collected for the Spanish dogs to meet with Sandy.

Today was the day that we going to meet Lin, Dave and their lovely family in Belgium. We have also collect things for Ann  After a drive and some searching we found the place and we exchange the stuff ;D  Very curious in what is in it   We've got a very warm welcome with coffee and cake  and after a chitchat it was already time to go home  But first we want to have a picture of us together   From the left to the right: Marjoleine, Lin, Me and Dave  Then we have load the cars again...  our car loaded with things for the Spanish dogs and things we are going to sell for Kama's Cave  and Lin and Dave's car loaded with thing for Ann and Paul We want to thank you all for the help, please keep continue Because together we can make a difference!!! Special thanks to Ann for collecting the things for the Spanish dogs.  To Lin and Dave for the long journey they have to made to make this work And to Marie and Tony, who have their house opened to us and for the cakes and coffee Sandy and Marjoleine |

After 4 hours sleep Dave and I had 'breakfast' at 2am  and then left our house in Peterborough for the two and a half hour drive down to Eurotunnel and from there another one and three quarter hours drive on to Jurbise in Belgium....After a smooth journey, although it rained most of the way,  we arrived at my daughter's house at 11 am, with Sandy and Marjoleine arriving within minutes. They brought a beautiful bouquet of flowers for Marie and lovely gifts for everyone, Dave enjoyed his beer so much when he arrived home, said that was just what he needed ;D. Thank you very much, x It was such a pleasure to meet the ladies of Galgo Love today, they are both lovely, happy people who, like all of us, share the same passion for the dogs. They do much to help not only the Kama's Cave Greyhounds but also the Spanish Galgo rescues and have horrific stories to tell of their suffering too. They brought with them some beautiful items which will all help the dogs in one way or another and we are very grateful to them for this wonderful gesture of kindness, thank you both very much. More photos of our meeting ... Marjoleine explaining..  Sandy on a serious note..  Time to unload..  Wait a minute Dave that's my laundry bag!!!!  Boasting Ann's handiwork..  Sandy bearing beautiful gifts,,  I know it's here somewhere...  A group photo..  and the goodbyes....until next time.x  That was a good day |

What a lovely experience that must have been. Wonderful photographs and such a lot going backwards and forwards to be able to help. Great people doing wonderful things.

At first Sandy and me where a bit nervous about the language  But after a while it was fine. Lin and Dave are wonderfull people, Marie and Tony where very nice too and they have two beautifull daughters Thank you all for giving us a warm welkom and a warm feeling inside! big to you all, also for An, hope too see you ext time! greetings, Marjoleine |

Thank you for your kindness Marjoleine, I forgot to say that the car had the beautiful fragrance of your pretty soaps all the way home ::)When Ann came to the house to collect them we both put our noses in the box of soap chains as they smell delicious!!!!! Lin x |
