Dear All I am pleased to advise that Andrew Rosindell, MP for Romford and one of our Trustees, has kindly tabled an Early Day Motion, highlighting the work of the Retired Greyhound Trust. For those that are not aware, Early Day Motions are formal motions submitted for debate in the House of Commons. Although very few are actually debated, EDMs allow MPs to draw attention to an event or cause. MPs register their support by signing individual motions. Our EDM has already attracted 13 signatures and can be read here: www.parliament.uk/edm/2010-12/2259 This is a great opportunity for us to raise awareness of RGT within Westminster and therefore please could I encourage you to invite your local MP to sign the EDM if he/she has not done so already. You can find out who your MP is by visiting: www.parliament.uk/mps-lords-and-offices/mps/
